Combine With
Dandelion leaf combines well with nettles and clivers as a cleansing and diuretic mixture. It may also be mixed with hawthorn and lemon balm for mild to moderate high blood pressure. Combines well with marigold, vervain, yarrow or peppermint for liver support.
Directions for Use
One to two teaspoons of herb added to one cup of boiling water and brewed for 10 minutes. Strain and drink up to three times daily.
Notes on the Herb
This herb has a strong detoxifying action. The leaf is especially used for its diuretic action in water retention, ankle swelling and high blood pressure. It also increases the production and flow of bile in the liver. Suitable for children.
